Description

The transformer winding deformation tester is used to test power transformers with voltage levels of 6kV and above, as well as other special-purpose transformers. During operation or transportation, power transformers inevitably suffer from various fault short-circuit current impacts or physical collisions. Under the powerful electrodynamic force generated by the short-circuit current, the transformer windings may lose stability, leading to permanent deformation phenomena such as local twisting, bulging, or displacement, which will seriously affect the safe operation of the transformer. According to the national power industry standard DL/T911-2016, the frequency response analysis method is used to measure transformer winding deformation. This involves detecting the amplitude-frequency response characteristics of each winding and comparing the results longitudinally or laterally. Based on the degree of change in the amplitude-frequency response characteristics, the possible deformation of the transformer windings can be determined.

Technical Features

The frequency sweep method is used to measure the characteristics of the transformer windings. Without removing or disassembling the transformer, the amplitude-frequency response characteristics of each winding are detected, accurately measuring the twisting, bulging, or displacement deformation of the windings in 6kV and above transformers.

The measurement speed is fast, with a measurement time of less than 2 minutes for a single winding, and three-phase automatic testing can be achieved.

The frequency accuracy is extremely high, exceeding 0.001%.

Digital frequency synthesis ensures higher frequency stability.

5000V voltage isolation provides ample protection for the test computer.

It can simultaneously load up to nine curves, automatically calculating relevant parameters for each curve, automatically diagnosing winding deformation, and providing diagnostic reference conclusions.

The analysis software is powerful, with software and hardware specifications meeting the DL/T911-2016 standard.

The software management is user-friendly and highly intelligent; after setting the parameters, all measurements can be completed with a single button press.

The software interface is simple and intuitive, with menus for analysis, storage, report export, and printing clearly displayed.

Typical Application Scenarios

Post-Accident Assessment: After a transformer experiences a near-circuit impact, quickly determine the integrity of the windings to decide whether immediate repair or continued operation is necessary.

Regular Preventive Testing: Incorporate winding deformation testing into routine testing to establish a transformer health record and enable condition-based maintenance.

Post-Overhaul Verification: After transformer overhaul or transportation, verify whether the windings have shifted or deformed during the process.

Factory and Installation Acceptance: A key test item for the handover and acceptance of new transformers or overhauled transformers.

Fault Location: Assist in locating internal fault points in the transformer, providing a clear direction for maintenance.
