Distributed Grounding Fault Tripping Device

Addressing the current problems and major pain points in single-phase grounding fault location in distribution networks, as well as the future construction and development needs of distribution networks, our company has developed the SMR-DFS-S type distributed grounding fault tripping device. The device is mainly suitable for on-site analysis and rapid isolation of single-phase grounding faults on single outgoing lines in 6-35kV substations, switching stations, and ring main units.

Early Warning of Single-Phase Grounding Faults: Based on active early warning technology for insulation damage, it facilitates condition-based maintenance of distribution lines for high-voltage users, preventing accidents.

On-Site Analysis of Single-Phase Grounding Faults: The device collects three-phase voltage and three-phase current signals. Relying on high-precision open-type phase current transformers (0.2 class), it can accurately detect grounding faults within 5kV, including high-resistance grounding, arcing grounding, intermittent grounding, and metallic grounding.

Single-Phase Grounding Fault Tripping and Alarm: The device provides tripping and alarm output nodes. The tripping function is implemented through connection to the protection tripping circuit. The tripping function's enabling/disabling and tripping delay are adjustable.

Phase detection function: If three-phase voltage can be collected, the faulty phase can be accurately identified when a single-phase ground fault occurs in the system.

Fault recording function: Employing frequency-following tracking technology, the zero-sequence fault component is extracted in real time. Through a joint analysis method using zero-sequence voltage and zero-sequence current fault components, fault initiation is achieved, and fault recording is performed.

Flexible installation: Each outgoing line can be independently and locally installed with a distributed ground fault tripping device. The device adopts a wall-mounted installation method, supporting uninterrupted power supply installation.
