Transformer Neutral Point Gap Grounding Protection Complete Set Device

Our company's SMR-ZJB series transformer neutral point gap grounding protection device is a specialized complete set of equipment for overvoltage protection of the neutral point of 110kV/220kV transformers. The entire set of equipment uses the SMR-ZJB series transformer neutral point protection gap as its core, and is equipped with disconnecting switches and surge arresters according to the operating environment and user requirements. Typical application schemes include: a combination scheme of disconnecting switch and surge arrester discharge gap, a combination scheme of disconnecting switch and discharge gap, and a pure gap scheme.

The SMR-ZJB series transformer neutral point protection gap is manufactured according to the relevant provisions of DL/T-620-1997 "Overvoltage Protection and Insulation Coordination of AC Electrical Installations" regarding the use of gap protection for the neutral point of transformers in 110kV and 220kV effectively grounded power networks, and is designed with reference to the technical requirements for neutral point protection gaps in "25 Key Requirements for Preventing Major Accidents in Power Production" published by the State Grid Corporation's Transmission and Power Operation Department in September 2000.

This complete set of equipment is a modular unit, mainly comprising the following components:

Disconnecting Switch: Used to connect or disconnect the grounding connection of the transformer neutral point, facilitating equipment maintenance and changes in operating mode.

Zinc Oxide Surge Arrester: The core voltage-limiting element, used to limit various overvoltages.

Discharge Gap: Consists of two rod-shaped electrodes; the gap distance can be precisely adjusted according to the system voltage, and is crucial for achieving gap protection.

Current Transformer: Installed in the neutral point circuit, used to collect zero-sequence current, providing operating signals for the protection device.

Supporting Insulators and Steel Structure Brackets: Provide robust mechanical support and reliable electrical insulation for all equipment.
